The Philippines has reportedly accused the Chinese coast guard of a collision with a supply boat from the Philippines in the South China Sea.
The vessel from the Philippines was sailing to a Philippine outpost on Sunday in the Second Thomas Shoal, where the tensions have increased in recent weeks.
Manila informed of Beijing’s blocking manoeuvres that endangered the safety and security of the crew members from the Philippines.

However, China mentioned that the Philippines stirred up trouble deliberately.
The Philippine and Chinese ships have played a cat-and-mouse chase around the shoal as a handful of troops from the Philippines on the outpost, a crumbling and marooned navy vessel, need monthly rations.
Relevant Filipino authorities mentioned that China has become all the more aggressive since Ferdinand Marcos Jr, the Philippines President, took office in June last year and sought closer military rapport with Washington, the chief rival of Beijing, for its influence in the resourceful and strategic sea.
In a second incident near the Second Thomas Shoal on Sunday, the Filipino authorities mentioned that a China-based militia vessel ran into a Filipino coast guard vessel.
Manila informed that a second supply vessel was also capable of reaching the Philippine outpost in that shoal.
Beijing claims that almost the whole of the South China Sea, including the Spratlys — the area where the Second Thomas Shoal is. Its claims overlap with those of other nations, including Vietnam and the Philippines.
In 2016, an international arbitration court based at The Hague ruled that China’s sea claims lacked a basis, acting on a case that Manila brought forth. Beijing has also refused to acknowledge it.
