Ocean Network Express has achieved a significant milestone in the maritime industry by breaking the record for container ship cargo at the Singapore Port.
The massive ship ONE Integrity, which had a capacity of 24,000 TEU, exceeded all expectations by packing an incredible 21,954 TEU. With this accomplishment, Evergreen’s Ever Ace—carrying 21,710 TEU in August 2021—became the new record holder.
The largest container ships in the world have a nominal capacity of 24,000 TEU, but practical factors like vessel stability and cargo weight frequently limit the number of containers loaded.
With this incredible achievement, ONE Integrity took first place and demoted the Evergreen vessel to second place. Notably, ONE surpassed Maersk’s milestone of 19,038 TEU in August 2018, reclaiming a record it first set in 2019, while the MOL Tribute loaded its 19,100 TEU.
ONE Integrity is a magnificent ship launched at sea and officially turned over to its operator in 2023. Its dimensions are 399 meters long by 61 meters wide, with a draught of 16.5 meters.
This achievement confirms ONE Integrity’s position as a titan in the maritime industry and highlights ONE’s importance within the global ocean carrier consortium.
