Malaysia Imposes Ban On ZIM And Other Israeli-Owned Vessels From Docking

According to PM Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Israeli shipping firm ZIM is not permitted to dock at any Malaysian port. He declared that the Transport Ministry was prepared to act right away and put the corporation under a permanent ban, starting right away.

The government has made the decision to revoke earlier Cabinet rulings. Per Anwar, the prohibition is a direct reaction to Israel’s activities, which involve ongoing killings and atrocities towards the Palestinian people and have been deemed to be a breach of fundamental humanitarian norms and international law.

Numerous groups have responded to this by calling on the government to act immediately and submitting petitions to forbid Israeli-owned vessels from docking in the nation.
