Watch: Trump Shares Dramatic Footage Of Airstrike On Houthis, Says “They’ll Never Sink Our Ships Again”

US President Donald Trump has shared a chilling video of an American airstrike on Houthi rebels in Yemen, claiming that the group will never attack US ships again.

The black-and-white footage showed a crowd of individuals moments before a powerful explosion created a crater, leaving bodies scattered on the ground.

In his post, Trump stated that the Houthis were gathered to plan an attack when they were hit. He wrote that there would be no attack from those militants and now they are no longer a threat to US vessels.

The video was shared with the message, “Oops, there will be no attack by these Houthis! They will never sink our ships again!”

The airstrike was launched after the Houthis claimed responsibility for recent attacks on American naval forces.

Late last month, they targeted the USS Harry S. Truman aircraft carrier and several other US warships operating in the Red Sea.

After those threats, the United States launched daily airstrikes on Houthi targets. According to Trump, the campaign has been ongoing for over 20 days, intensifying after the group threatened Israeli-linked vessels in the region.

That warning came in response to Israel hitting humanitarian aid destined for Gaza.

Trump declared that the Houthis have been severely weakened by the ongoing strikes. He stated that many of the group’s fighters and leaders had been killed and added that US attacks would continue until the group no longer posed a risk to shipping lanes or regional security.

He also said that their capabilities were being destroyed and that the air campaign would not stop unless the Houthis ceased attacking US forces.

Trump added that if the attacks continue, the “real pain” would follow for both the Houthis and their backers in Iran.

He also issued a warning to Iran, saying that if the Houthi strikes do not stop, Washington would target Tehran directly.

The US State Department, alongside the military response, introduced new sanctions against individuals and companies involved in supporting the Houthis.

The measures target financial facilitators, procurement networks, and firms operating in what officials described as a global illicit financing structure.

These new sanctions follow earlier ones imposed in early March after the Houthis downed a US MQ-9 Reaper drone. Since then, sources revealed that the group has shot down three such drones.

In a separate incident ahead of the strikes, a communication error exposed sensitive US military planning. According to reports, National Security Adviser Mike Waltz accidentally added journalist Jeffrey Goldberg to a signal group chat where Senior officials were discussing the Yemen operation.

Waltz, in public remarks made late last month, described the Houthis as a dangerous group comparable to al-Qaeda or ISIS, but with access to advanced weapons like ballistic and cruise missiles, and sophisticated air defenses, which are believed to be supplied by Iran.

Analysts also observed that Houthi attacks seem to avoid vessels from countries like China and Saudi Arabia. Experts say that the group’s strikes are not random but are instead carefully chosen.

The Houthis belong to Yemen’s Zaidi Shia minority and have long been supported by Iran. While Iran denies directly arming the group, several international investigations and arms seizures have linked Houthi weapon supplies to Tehran.
