According to authorities, a US Navy and a Danish ship ran into a collision on Sunday morning in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
The “Danmark” was tugged by a smaller boat when it reportedly smashed into wood pilings sometime after 11 am, officials added.
The tugboat pulled the Danmark into the US Minneapolis-St. Paul, per authorities.
The US military personnel said in a statement provided by Baltimore’s Police Department that no one suffered injuries during the collision.
No US Navy personnel suffered any injuries, and no severe damages were sustained onboard the USS Minneapolis St. Paul when the training ship named Danmark reportedly made contact with the moored LCS. The Danish vessel was getting underway from the Baltimore Inner Harbor on 11 Sept, a spokesperson of the US Navy said.
The vessels were in the port and taking part in what has been a lovely week for Maryland Fleet Week and Flyover Baltimore.
