Carnival Cruise Line has reportedly achieved yet another milestone as the first-ever cruise line to embark 100 million guests since it started sailing for the first time, per a press statement.
Christine Duffy, the President of Carnival Cruise Line, visited the Carnival Sunrise as passengers boarded the vessel at PortMiami, where Carnival had been discovered, and thanked them for presenting Carnival as the most popular cruise line in the world.
Carnival is the first cruise line in the world that meets the incredible mark of 100 million guests, and I believe it’s a testament to the fun, inclusive atmosphere valued passengers and exceptional team members have created on board the vessels for 51 years, mentioned Christine Duffy, the president associated with Carnival Cruise Line.
There’s more fun in the store. The firm is continuing to grow its operations rapidly — with three vessels being part of the fleet by next year spring.
Debi and David Clifford, who had been sailing from Ohio, represented the cruise line’s passengers as the 100 millionths. When boarding the vessel, they were greeted with great fanfare from Duffy and the team members of the ship.
Other guests could also join the celebration and take photographs signifying how each passenger is one in a million.
Carnival Cruise Line is expanding the offering while preparing for a new vessel to debut in May 2023.
The Carnival Venezia will expand the New York offerings, including year-round and seasonal sailings. Besides, later in 2023, the Carnival Jubilee, the third sister vessel to Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras, will join the fleet sailing from Galveston.
The Carnival Firenze, a sister vessel to the Carnival Venezia, will begin sailing year-round cruises from Long Beach in California.
