The White House stated on Monday that the weekend strike on three vessels in the Red Sea posed a threat to international stability and peace.

Jake Sullivan, the National security advisor, told reporters at a briefing that Washington had every cause to believe that the attacks, while conducted by the Houthis in Yemen, are completely enabled by Iran.
