Authorities allege in a court document that a youth counsellor working on a Celebrity Cruises vessel admitted to molesting many youngsters while on board.
An FBI agent alleged in an affidavit filed last week in federal court in Florida that Cris John Pentinio Castor sexually molested youngsters while working in the youth centre aboard Celebrity Cruises’ “Silhouette” vessel.
Castor’s lawyers did not respond to the claims. Based on the complaint, Castor happens to be a Filipino citizen who has been working on the ship since August.
Per court documents, the parents of a six-year-old girl addressed the youth centre’s program manager upon picking up the daughter on 27 November from the centre.
Per the petition, the youngster told a forensic specialist three days after Castor had touched her underwear as she was engaged in a video game.
According to the affidavit, security footage from the youth centre reveals Castor and the youngster seated close to each other, and although the view is from behind them, Castor is seen to be reaching out for the child’s groin.
Per court filings, the family embarked on a Caribbean cruise that had left Florida a week before. Per the petition, Castor eventually admitted to authorities that he had touched the kid’s vaginal area and also abused at least three more minors.
Castor is currently encountering a federal charge of making abusive sexual contact with someone under the age of 12.
