SeaCube Containers is the first leasing company to order Carrier Transicold’s innovative OptimaLINE refrigerated containers.
The order includes 3,000 units designed to meet the growing demand for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly shipping solutions.
The SeaCube team identified the need for an adaptable reefer solution as companies dealt with growing operational costs and constantly evolving environmental regulations.
Bob Sappio, CEO of SeaCube, stated that the OptimaLINE system was chosen because of its ability to greatly improve fuel efficiency while reducing customer expenses.
The OptimaLINE features advanced technologies, such as a variable-speed compressor with a permanent magnet motor and a variable-frequency drive, which work together to improve energy efficiency and reliability.
The cutting-edge device enables tighter temperature controls, further reducing carbon emissions related to shipping operations.
