XMAR and Blue Pass have announced a strategic partnership to launch the UAE’s first digital bunker platform. This collaboration is set to transform how fuel procurement and trading take place in the Gulf region and beyond.
XMAR, known for its digital solutions in bunker trading, has partnered with Blue Pass, the UAE’s top maritime digital project, backed by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI).
This partnership makes XMAR the exclusive technology provider for the new bunkering service offered under the Blue Pass umbrella.
Under this agreement, a tailored version of XMAR’s advanced trading interface will be integrated directly into the Blue Pass system. The aim is to provide users with a seamless, user-friendly digital experience designed specifically for the UAE’s maritime sector.
Through this new system, Blue Pass members will gain access to real-time data related to bunkering, transparent pricing, a smoother fuel procurement process, and a growing network of trusted bunker suppliers and traders.
The platform is designed to streamline operations and bring more trust and clarity to fuel-related transactions.
The launch supports the UAE’s national vision “We the UAE 2031,” which emphasises innovation, sustainability, and smarter logistics to strengthen the country’s economic growth and global standing.
Leadership from both companies discussed the importance of this partnership.
According to reports, XMAR’s CEO Hans-Christian Mordhorst sees this collaboration as an opportunity to position XMAR at the forefront of the UAE’s digital maritime journey.
He believes the technology provided by XMAR will play a vital role in reshaping how bunker procurement is managed across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
Blue Pass CEO Captain Rami Al Breiki also acknowledged the value of this partnership, stating that the integration of XMAR’s platform into Blue Pass will offer unmatched efficiency and access to premium services that haven’t been available on any other government digital platform before.
NeoNautica, the operational partner behind Blue Pass, will handle user onboarding and coordinate regulatory requirements. The company plans to use its strong ties with government agencies and deep knowledge of the maritime industry to ensure a smooth rollout and widespread adoption.
