Stolt Tankers was pleased to declare the launch of a brand new pool in Stolt NYK Asia Pacific Services (abbreviated the SNAPS)
Commenting on this profitable partnership, Lucas Vos, the President of Stolt Tankers, mentioned that by adding tonnage from the Eneos Ocean’s top-notch platform, NYK and Stolt Tankers have demonstrated the ability to generate value in a very highly competitive market.
They expect the two vessels to enhance the overall service offering throughout Asia by enhancing logistical flexibility while providing excellent environmental and safety standards.
He said that he was particularly content with this deal as it expands the presence of Stolt Tankers in the region while also expanding the tonnage partners in Japan.
He would also like to extend his thankfulness to NYK and ENEOS Ocean for their dedication to bringing such a partnership to life and the trust they have placed in the firm.
The deal will be effective immediately. Two 12,000 DWT vessels owned by the ENEOS Ocean will likely be part of the SNAPS Pool in the fourth quarter of this year.
